Another Real Co., Ltd. (CEO Hyun-joo Kim), a company specializing in industrial safety Vision AI, announced that it has completed the commercialization of its industrial safety edge computing model, ‘Another Eye-Edge,’ and has entered the full-scale field deployment phase.
The newly commercialized ‘Another Eye-Edge’ model is a solution optimized for industrial sites burdened by the costs and logistics of building large-scale server infrastructure. Without needing separate high-spec servers, it integrates directly with existing on-site CCTVs to detect and warn against workers' hazardous behaviors and equipment anomalies in real time, 24/7.
This solution allows sites to select customized features from a total of over 20 functions to simultaneously analyze real-time video. These features include: ▲Worker Safety (failure to wear safety helmets or vests, worker collapse, SOS signals) ▲Worker Behavior (crowding, counting) ▲Mobile Equipment (forklift approaches, speed limit violations, restricted area intrusions) ▲Area Monitoring (fire/smoke, off-hours access, loitering, two-person buddy systems, mixed forklift operations).
A major strength of the solution is its design based on low-power, high-efficiency domestic NPUs (Neural Processing Units). This maximizes efficiency by reducing power consumption by over 90% and operating costs by over 80% compared to conventional GPUs.
Another Real has integrated the extensive know-how accumulated from operating server-type models at large-scale construction, manufacturing, and logistics sites into this commercial edge model. Previously, by applying its server-type model to a major conglomerate's manufacturing and chemical complex, the company achieved an 82% reduction in worker safety violations compared to pre-adoption levels. Through this proven track record, the solution is recognized for overcoming the limitations of conventional, one-off AI projects and establishing itself as a core ‘operating infrastructure’ that works around the clock to ensure workplace safety.
Starting with this commercialization, the company plans to rapidly distribute the edge model to industrial sites nationwide, including small and medium-sized manufacturing workplaces. By utilizing a standardized model that can be instantly deployed regardless of environmental variations at each site, Another Real aims to secure more than 50 new sites within the year.
