The specialized engine of Another Real, an expert in AI-based video analysis solutions, has been integrated as the core technology for 'POLARIS EYE,' a new industrial safety-specific solution launched by Polaris AI on the 15th.
Developed upon Another Real's highly precise Vision AI engine—which has already been proven in high-risk industrial environments—this solution is engineered to prevent serious accidents across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, construction, logistics, and public safety. Another Real’s advanced technology plays a pivotal role in analyzing and detecting on-site risk factors in real time.
Powered by Another Real’s technology, the solution offers a comprehensive suite of essential safety features for manufacturing and construction sites. These include detecting whether workers are properly wearing safety helmets, vests, and harnesses; identifying unauthorized access to hazardous zones; predicting collision risks involving forklifts and mobile equipment; detecting fire and smoke; recognizing worker collapses and SOS signals; and analyzing abnormal crowd behaviors. When a hazardous situation is detected, the system immediately disseminates real-time warnings by linking with the central control system, KakaoTalk notifications, and on-site warning lights and speakers.
Notably, this solution maximizes synergy by combining Another Real's specialized engine with Polaris AI's Edge AI deployment capabilities and DeepX's NPU (Neural Processing Unit) processing technology. By enabling immediate video analysis at the Edge IPC level without the need for expensive GPU servers, it drastically reduces both initial adoption costs and ongoing maintenance burdens. Furthermore, it allows for the seamless utilization of legacy infrastructure, such as existing CCTVs. Because video data is not transmitted to external clouds, the system completely eliminates the risk of data leakage while ensuring a delay-free, real-time response.
Currently, this solution has been prioritized for deployment within the production and research facilities of internal group affiliates, such as Polaris Sewon and Polaris AI Pharma. Various practical scenarios, including worker protective gear detection and hazardous area access control, are actively being verified.
